Subir Charabory is the CEO of the company. Initially, they start the company with lead acid battery. Now, it is the leading lead acid manufacture in India and holds 4th largest battery manufacture in the world. Exide battery and Exide life insurance are the 2 subsidiary of the companies. But, in January 2022 HDFC acquisition the complete stake of the company. Product The company produce Automotive, Solar, Industrial battery like Genset , Consumer use battery like Inventor and UPS battery and submarine batteries, with the capacity of 2.5Ah to 20,600Ah battery.
