History

        It is founded in 10th April 1995 in Gujarat by Tulsi Tanti. J.P Chalasani is the present CEO of the company. It is an ISO 9001/2 certified company. It is a leading wind turbine  manufacture company in the World. First they start Textile company. During this period electricity cost is high, this affect the cost of production. so Mr. Tulsi Tanti use  windmill  to reduce the electricity bill. Later, this concept attract other companies so, Mr. Tulsi Tanti move from textile industry to windmill manufacture company. He went to Germany and start to learn about windmills production and uses.

        Now it has 14 manufacturing unit in India. It present in 17 countries across 6 continents.

Projects for Suzlon

        Suzlon provide windmills to Muppandal wind farm for the capacity of 900MW.

        Adani Green Energy Ltd. produce 48.3 MW from Suzlon windmills. 

        In Gujarat, Suzlon signed for the 6000 crore project to set up windmills in Off shore.

        It won the contract from Vibrant Energy for producing 99 MW energy from 33 hybrid lattice wind turbine.

Achieve

        It achieve 20GW energy from setting up of 12,467 wind turbines across the world.

        ACC, Adani renewables, Aditya Brila groups, Bajaj, Gail, Hero motors, ITC, ONGC, Reliance, SBI, TATA, Vedanta and Hinduja groups.

Operation

        They develop, Manufacturing, Marketing, EPC(Engineering procurement and construction), Project delivery& Operation and maintenance of windmills. 

Fall of Suzlon

        Suzlon produce wind turbines and sell it to the buyer before the consumer pay the amount, this increase the debt of the company. The set up for windmills cost is higher compare to other renewable energy. The promoters constantly sell the stocks to retailors, foreign investors and mutual funds also reduce their holdings.

Raise of Suzlon

        In 2023 Suzlon order to repay the amount, this reduce the debt of the company. It also acquired new project from top companies with the OPM of 14%.
