History
It is founded in 11th November 1921 by T.V. Balagurusamy at the name of "The Nadar bank Ltd". The name was changed into TamilNadu mercantile bank in 26th November 1962. The headquarters located in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. K.V Rama Moorthy is the CEO of the bank.
loans
The bank provide loans to micro, small and medium enterprises(MSME), and also for Agriculture and retail consumers. They do not provide bad loans or huge loans for co-operate business.
Have
It have 564 branches across India, with 1153 Automated teller machines and 332 Cash recycle machines. The operating cash is 65,153 crore.
Revenue
The Overall revenue comes from (MSME) Ministry of small and medium enterprises 37% , Agriculture 30%, Retail business 20% and corporate contribute 13 % of the revenue. The net profit of the banks in 2023 is 1030 Crore which is twice the time of 2022 net profit. The OPM value is 18%.
Advantage
The stock is trading near to the book value Rs 435/- and also pay constant Dividend to the share holders with 4% . The growth of the bank is constant and stable. It tie up with HDFC banks to support 2 way transaction. This can lead to gain new more consumers.
